Policy, Hours and Rates

I administer ethical, therapeutic massage only. I've remained a member in good standing with the California Massage Therapy Council since my initial certification in 2011. One may check on any member of the CAMTC by going to their website and looking up the therapist's member number. Mine is at the bottom of the page in the About Me section of this website.

My office prices are as follows:

1st Introductory 70 minute, hands-on session (a $110 value,) is discounted to $70. Plan on about a 90-95 mn total appt time to make time for filling out and going over the intake form as well as customization of a treatment plan for your appointment, as well as for providing payment and if needed, your use of the restroom before or after your appointment. 

Subsequent 60 minute sessions after the first are $95, unless you return for an appointment on the consecutive month of a previous appt with me, in which case the price is $75 for 60 minutes. Keep in mind most locations will charge you for 50 minute appointments and call it an hour. WIth me, 60 minutes equals a 60 minute massage, plus additional time required for assessment and getting on and off of the table, etc. So plan on about 75 minutes in total for your 60 minute massage.

Now, here's what's cool about my prices. Lets say your first appointment is in November. Come back in December, and you pay $75 for the hour instead of $95. Come back a second time or third time in December, and the price for the hour drops to $60. So, buy more save more.

Spouses and adult offspring can share memberships in this fashion to decrease costs, provided they have the same last name on their official, government-issued ID cards. Just keep in mind that on the first day of every month, the price resets back to $75 for the hour, or $95 if you or a family member did not come in for a massage appt with me on the previous month.

90 mn hands-on appts cost $30 more than the 60 mn. For a 120 mn massage, add $45 to the cost of the 90 mn.

Add aromatherapy to any appointment for an extra $5. Options include essential oils of lemon, lime, lavender, frankincense, tangerine, ginger, peppermint, and vanilla . 

Those younger than 18 yrs of age require at least one parent or guardian to remain in the treatment room for the duration of the appointment. Total appointment time for an hour of hands-on therapy lasts about 70-80 minutes, so plan accordingly.

Regarding pricing, be reminded that most locations give only 50 and 80 hands-on minutes, not 70 (intro), 60 and 90 minutes like I do. Also factor in the training and experience level of your therapist, as these things can vary tremendously in our industry.

I accept credit/debit cards, PayPal and cash only. Credit card payments are processed through Square.

To cancel or reschedule a pre-existing appointment with me, providing me with notice of 24 hours or more will ensure that you will not be charged. If less than 24 hrs notice, it will depend on circumstances. If notice is not given or given after your appointment start time, you will most likely be charged for the full price of your massage session. Please show up on time for your massage in order to guarantee full session length.
